Melbourne’s brutal death metal outfit Monoliyth has unleashed their official video for the first single Excised Unborn, off the upcoming album, He Who Kills. The band is excited to announce having signed to Wormhole Death Records. The release date for He Who Kills digital will be the 22nd of August, and physical TBA. There will also be a limited edition on vinyl.

The album, He Who Kills, is based on the dark side of humanity, looking through the eyes of serial killers, as a perspective, and a grim insight into the depraved. The single Excised Unborn sets the tone for what’s to come – heavy, raw, and unapologetic brutal death metal. The video drops alongside the single. Guitarist Mick Barr states that the single “delivers everything fans have come to expect from the band’s relentless riffs, crushing vocals, and a dark visual narrative, capturing the sonic massacre that is Monoliyth.”

About the band:

Formed in 1998 in Melbourne, Australia, Monoliyth was founded by guitarist Mick Barr. The intensity and passion for extreme music have remained consistent throughout their catalogue and aggressive live shows. Monoliyth has evolved from classic thrash to a laser-focused brutal death metal ensemble. Injecting old-school and tech-death elements into the compositions is an integral part of the writing process, a trend that will continue to expand into the band’s future releases.
