Nephylim

Melodic death metal outfit Nephylim released their second single and lyric video, Circuition, soon after the premiering of the first single from the upcoming album, the closing track Inner Paradigm. Thus, the title track of the album CircuitionThe act of going around – elaborates the endless, wandering circulation while being lost in life, which could happen when one encounters a large personal loss like losing a partner, a dear family member or other loved one. In time, the accompanying grief and pain will make place for a restless strive for a way to resume your life as before. The act of bringing back the motion in your cycle of life. However, this results in the creation of opportunities to pave new paths.

About the new album and title track

The brand new album will come out on March 7th 2025. The band recorded the album with Jos Driessen at Sandlane Recording Facilities and Yarne Heylen at Project Zero Studio. Joost van den Broek mixed it at Sandlane Recording Facilities (Ayreon, Blind Guardian, Epica, Powerwolf, Sabaton), and Darius van Helfteren mastered it at Amsterdam Mastering (Epica, Floor Jansen, Blackbriar). Their brand new track comes out with a lyric video, created by Andrea Mantelli (AM Productions). The artwork was crafted by Giannis Nakos (Remedy Art Design).

Martijn comments:

“Our title track Circuition is definitely one of our most daring and ambitious songs to date. The dynamic within this song is absolutely enormous and is a musical path we have not walked before. Going from ballad-like softer parts accompanied with clean emotional vocals straight into epic heavy structures with a beautiful orchestral arrangement to give it the extra cherry on top. Lyric wise, the song is quite personal and about coping with loss, finding your way and making sense into an always revolving world.”

Ralph adds:

“The first time I heard the track Circuition completely mixed, I had goosebumps! To me, this song is the perfect mix of fragility and emotions, combined with epicness and explosiveness. Together with the deep meaning of the lyrics, makes this song one of my absolute favorite of the entire record.”

NEPHYLIM is:

Tijn Bosters – Lead vocals
Kevin van Geffen – Guitar & Backing/Clean vocals
Ralph Lentink –  Guitar
Rens van de Ven – Bass
Martijn Paauwe – Drums
