German melodic black/death metal rising force, Black Aeons announced the release date for their debut album. Titled Entering the Shadows, the twelve track full-length is coming out on November 1st, via Silent Watcher Records.
Entering the Shadows is the debut full-length from Black Aeons, a band formed by Blackheart13, who also plays in A Somber Funeral. Featuring twelve tracks of melodic black-death metal, the album draws inspiration from Scandinavian legends like Dissection, Unanimated, Sacramentum, and Lord Belial. Yet, it establishes a sound that is uniquely their own. Death and war intertwine with mythological themes, taking listeners on a dark journey into the realms of destruction and decay.
Recorded at Blackheart13’s home studio in Otterberg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, with drums tracked at LIQUID AETHER Audio studio, and mixed and mastered by Mario Dahmen of LIQUID AETHER Audio, the album promises a raw yet immersive sonic experience.
