A new creation, crawling out of a putrid nightmare, will come to infest your mind. For the dissonant death metal band Resin Tomb will release their second album, “Fetid Existence“, on 15 January 2027, through Transcending Obscurity Records. This work represents a moment where the band becomes more confident in wielding their meticulously constructed sound.

About the album
“Fetid Existence” is a nasty blend of death metal and grindcore spiked with dissonance and topped off with a bristly black metal fuzz. Their songs undergo various phases, from vigorous pounding parts to atmospheric passages, almost always culminating in an epic, memorable fashion. For now, two tracks from the album are available on the streaming platforms.
The title track, “Fetid Existence“, assaults your senses with a savage brutality. It forcefully makes its way to your core, only to implant itself there like a plague. From there, it slowly spreads through your entire system. It dominates you, cell by cell. In the end, you feel disintegrated and mercilessly butchered.
“Ancestral Agony” is a bit lighter than the previous song. The band’s ease in blending elements from different genres is more obvious here. The sound feels more dynamic, constantly shifting between different textures without losing its identity. The atmosphere is still unsettling and the pounding of the drums creates a constant tension in your brain.

Resin Tomb emerged from the depths, setting off on a mission to create music that wraps around you like a shroud, leaving behind a sense of unease and weariness. Unveiling an abrasive sonic landscape and chaotic live spectacles, the band blends dissonant death metal and blackened grind, pushing boundaries without losing their way. “Fetid Existence” is another resounding success which sees Resin Tomb carrying forward their sublime sound and expanding upon it.
