Since staying in their comfort zone is not their nature, their album Meanwhile, released on February 10, 2023, explores new sonic territories to further develop their expansive, distinctive sound. Meanwhile features imposing guitars and beautiful melodies throughout. The album was recorded in February 2022 with producer Chris Edrich (TesseracT, Leprous, The Ocean Collective).
Their latest release, The Unseen, launched on November 8, 2024, shows their compositions reaching new heights, making it a truly captivating album.

Over the years, Klone has also been known for their extraordinary live shows. They’ve toured with bands like Devin Townsend, Leprous, and Pain of Salvation, impressing crowds at festivals such as Hellfest, Motocultor, Prog Power USA, Midsummer Prog, and Cruise to the Edge.

Kingcrow – Progressive Metal, Italy

The band was initially founded in Rome, Italy, by brothers Diego Cafolla (guitar) and Manuel “Thundra” Cafolla (drums) under the name “Earth Shaker.” Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s poem The Raven and driven by a desire for change, the band quickly changed their name to Kingcrow, releasing several demos/self-produced albums under this title: Something Unknown (2001), Insider (2004), and Timetropia (2006).

In early 2010, the band completed recordings for their new album Phlegethon, released in June. The album was considered an international masterpiece and ranked among the most important prog metal albums of the year, nearly topping “album of the year” lists on numerous international prog-rock sites. Phlegethon‘s promotion lasted nearly two and a half years.

The band later recorded In Crescendo, which was released in February 2013 by the U.S. label “Sensory Records.”
Kingcrow toured North America alongside Pain Of Salvation in April and May 2013. In 2015, the band released the album Eidos and toured Europe as headliners. Meanwhile, Kingcrow signed a management deal with GlassVille Music, home to renowned prog bands like Pain Of Salvation and Riverside.

The band recorded their latest album, The Persistence, released on September 7 through Sensory Records. It received excellent reviews and was included in numerous “best albums of 2018” lists in magazines and webzines.

Their most recent album, Hopium, marks another step forward in pushing boundaries, highlighting their passion for progressive music and innovative approach to incorporating countless influences into a unique, personal sound. Describing Kingcrow’s current sound is a challenging task, but influences from progressive rock, ambient music, alternative rock, and metal are all present in their work.
With each release, Kingcrow has moved further away from their original roots and is now considered one of the most exciting bands Italy has to offer.
