East Texas death metal titans Gutricyde set out to devastate the metal scene with their highly anticipated second full-length album. Titled Desires Of The Morbid, the band’s second album came out on May 11th, via Corpse Gristle Records. Fans of Cannibal Corpse, Frozen Soul, and Fulci will find much to relish in Gutricyde‘s brutal and uncompromising sound.
The band Gutricyde was established in 2019, and in a very short time, it has found its place in the TXDM. They first came into the spotlight with their four track demo, Devoured By Swine in February 2021, under Sound of White Noise Records. Their drive did not stop there, signing with Corpse Gristle Records and releasing their self-titled debut LP in early 2022. Now, the band is back with Desires Of The Morbid! Indeed, eleven tracks of pure death metal which came out via Corpse Gristle Records and Ossuary Industries.
Desires Of The Morbid showcases the band’s evolution and their relentless commitment to delivering high-intensity death metal. The album promises to be a must-listen for fans of the genre, with tracks that push the boundaries of brutality and technicality.
