Black metal band Azzaya, hailing from Portugal, released their second full-length on January 13th, via Prophetical Productions. Titled I Begin, the twelve-track material, offering almost 49 minutes of aggressive riffs, came out in CD and digital formats.
Azzaya ‘s I Begin is an exploration of intensity in the realms of black and death metal. It’s an album characterized by its raw, aggressive sound, layered with complex guitar riffs and relentless drumming. Indeed, all these build a landscape of sonic ferocity. The vocals, ranging from guttural screams to haunting chants, add depth to the album’s dark themes. Unique contributions from André Marmelo and Luis Simão on individual tracks bring a dynamic twist.
All in all, I Begin it’s a raw, aggressive experience! However, one that showcases Azzaya‘s distinct style!
