Nekhrah – first support band for Destruction

Nekhrah - first support band for Destruction

t is time to announce the first support band for the legendary Destruction.
Nekhrah was set up in 2011 in Nicosia, Cyprus initially called Impalement. They became quickly known in the local scene due to the original style. Nekhrah released a demo in 2014 and are now finishing recordings for their first studio album, Cosmic Apostasy, mastered by Alan Douches / West West Side Music.
The name of the band “Nekhrah” is an anglicized version of the Greek word “Nekrah”, which means Death / Immortality.
The philosophy behind the band is nihilistic. More precisely, the belief that existence is meaningless and that there is no inherent meaning in what we do, think or experiment. The lyrics revolve around misanthropy, cataclysm, self-destruction, and the desire not to exist.
“Humanity is but a flock of ritual monkeys that gather to praise insignificance.”
