There is a primordial reason why every band ceaselessly thanks the audience at every show: because a concert or festival simply could not exist without the crowd. It’s really no cliche that the people are the backbone of this amazing experience that is Rockstadt Extreme Fest.
So this goes out to you: to every headbanger, every kid on a parent’s shoulders, every crowd surfer and boat cruiser. This is for you who threw toilet paper rolls in the air at Gutalax, for you with the horse mask, corpse paint or with the Sleep Token symbol drew on with eyeliner. For the security crew that took care of us and even joined us at crowd surfing, for all the photographers and volunteers and organizers…for everyone behind or in front of the stage, this goes out to each and every one of you.
