The Polish Old School Death/Black Metal band Christ Agony released their most recent record ,,Legacy’’ on November 18th 2016 via Witching Hour Production. The album contains 7 tracks and a total of almost 51 Minutes of Old School onslaught.
,,Legacy’’ was recorded in Studio 666 in Morąg and comes in a 6-panel digipack with a very fine cover and design. The music and lyrics were exclusively created by Cezary ,,Cezar‘‘ Augustynowicz. The material contains a mixture of powerful Old School music with various immixtures of modern element. Christ Agony started actually to use more modern elements since they released their previous album ,,NocturN’’ in 2011.
The combination of raw vs. atmospheric, fast tempos and melodic elements makes this album very individual and carves the path of ,,modern’’ Old School sound. Having Dariusz ,,Daray‘‘ Brzozowski; who also collaborated with Dimmu Borgir, behind Drums the record ,,Legacy‘‘ provides a superb drumming session. I can only recommend you this record.
