The pagan folk metal band Natural Spirit returned in force on 15 January 2026 with a new visualiser for the track “Swamp”. Through “Swamp”, which was released on 22 August 2025, the Ukrainians set out to depict a hostile, ancient force that consumes patiently, erases memory, and leaves no space for creation or remembrance, a presence that does not rush, but endures until all resistance dissolves, according to Grand Sounds PR.

“Swamp” is the latest single release of the band formed in 1998, according to Encyclopaedia Metallum. It arrives after the group released the full-length album “Під серпом часу” in 2020.
Regarding the visualiser, it was conceived out of the band’s desire to underline the idea of the swamp as an all-consuming entity, one that pulls everything into stillness and silence, allowing nothing to remain once it has closed its grip.
The visualiser for the “Swamp” quickly entered the attention of the band’s followers, receiving positive comments across platforms.
About “Swamp”, the band mentioned:
“«Swamp» is a vast poisonous stain on the map that has been swallowing for centuries. It seeks to kill, to erase memory, to extinguish everything that grows, breathes, and creates. Drawing into its cold embrace, it longs to become the one and only silent swamp.”
