Some things are worth waiting for, and Portugal’s GAEREA coming back to Romania is one of them. On 4 October 2025, they will perform at Quantic Pub during Day VI of QFest. Masked and deliberate, the band has a way of shaping the space with sound alone. Where to put that there’s the 2024 album “Coma” that awaits to resonate in Bucharest?

About GAEREA
Formed in Porto in 2016, GAEREA have gradually evolved their sound, moving from raw black metal to post-black metal. Albums such as “Limbo”, “Mirage” and the most recent “Coma” explore themes of narcissism, self-destruction, misanthropy and emotional numbness.
Enigmatic and intense on stage, they combine measured gestures with subtle theatrics, letting the music shape the atmosphere. The music merge without excess, the performances unfolding like rituals.
They first played in Romania at Rockstadt Extreme Fest 2024, where they gave everything to the public, leaving a strong impression on those in attendance.
QFest in Focus
QFest returns this autumn, beginning on 29 September 2025. Over several days, the festival will bring together a mix of performances and artists, offering atmosphere, energy and moments of discovery for those attending. With GAEREA headlining Day VI at Quantic Pub, that variety is extended even further.
