Triptykon, Blackbraid, and Ponte del Diavolo are the first confirmed acts for Dark Easter Metal Meeting 2026, announced while the 2025 edition is still underway. With this early reveal, the Munich-based festival signals another strong gathering for the following year—once again leaning into the margins where darkness thrives.

Legacy, Ascent, and Debut Rituals
Triptykon, the Swiss entity led by Thomas Gabriel Fischer, brings decades of shadowed craft to the table—formed after his departure from Celtic Frost in 2008, and still channeling the same obsidian atmosphere under his own banner. Joining them, the United States’ Blackbraid offers a take on atmospheric black metal rooted in Native North-American mythology. Italy’s Ponte del Diavolo, set for an official album release show in Germany, continues the festival’s knack for highlighting boundary-pushing doom and black metal hybrids.
Thirteen Draws Near
Backstage München is set to host Dark Easter Metal Meeting on 4 and 5 April 2026 for what will be its thirteenth edition. The 2025 chapter—the twelfth—is currently in full motion.
