Finnish one-man black metal band Valontuoja is set to unleash the debut album Luonnon armoilla on November 8th, via Inverse Records. The second single, Jään tulen alle came out on September 25th. Also, on August 16th, the band dropped the first single, Kodistani karkoitettu.
The man behind Valontuoja, Jal’zoroth commented the single:
“Jään Tulen Alle plunges you into a realm of eternal night and infernal fire. This song is a dark odyssey, drawing you into the icy grasp of darkness and the searing embrace of flames. Feel the black river of your blood as it courses through your veins, chilling your heart while igniting your soul with an unholy fire. Let the eternal night shadows chant their dirge of infinity, where the cold embrace of death awaits. Embrace the void, where ice and fire collide, where your pain and longing are inseparable“
About the band:
Valontuoja, meaning “Bringer of Light” in Finnish, is the one-man black metal entity forged in the icy depths of Helsinki by the Jal’zoroth. Formed in 2024, the band channels the primordial essence of black metal…Indeed, weaving a sonic tapestry that is both ferocious and hauntingly melodic. Valontuoja‘s soundscape is a maelstrom of raw, unyielding black metal fused with ethereal and melodic elements. The band conjures an atmosphere that is as brutal as it is beautiful, guiding listeners through the desolate realms of human despair and nature’s unforgiving majesty.
