Helsinki based doom metal band Denigrate will release their fourth full-length, To the Goddess Unknown on November 29th via  Inverse Records. However, on September 12th, the band has released the second single The Apparition of One from the upcoming album. The song includes the very first tunes of this set of compositions. Mood and speedwise the song is on the higher range on Denigrate‘s standard of recent compositions. Lyrically, the song hopelessly yearns the unity of two, whether it be in crime or in balance.

Since Denigrate came to life, back in ’96, the inevitable vibe of the band was to be dark, melancholy, tormented, observative. The quantity of albums released is really not the thing in this band. From the first released album in 2003 to the latest fourth one to come out this November, decades have changed and so has the band.

After three albums released, after big time local momentum with a Finnish cover song, after mandatory hiatus, followed by some lineup changes, Denigrate 2024 introduces their absolutely greatest masterpiece to date. Moreover, the band shows what only truly experienced bunch of members can achieve.

Lineup:
Galzi Kallio: Vocals
Pekka Pyrhönen: Bass,
Seppo Nummela: Guitar
Teemu Riekki – Guitar
Tipi Toivanen: Drums
