French death metal band Ad Patres will release their third full-length album on June 7th, via Non Serviam Records. Titled Unbreathable, the ten track material promises to be a total blast. Furthermore, to give a taste of what’s to come, the French band released the first single The Dream Chaser on April 30th.

We’re joining a roster of incredible bands such as Blood of Serpents, Burning Darkness and Catalyst (to name a few). Our new album is set to be a brutal testament to our evolution as a band. We will tell a dark, twisted and violent story through this concept album.”
About the band
Ad Patres, the French death metal band hailing from Bordeaux, has marked nearly two decades of existence. In 2010, the band released their first promo EP. It features three intense and brutal tracks that drew inspiration from death metal giants like Morbid Angel and Suffocation. The EP laid the foundation for their unique sound, blending classic death metal standards with modern influences. After its first full-length offspring Scorn Aesthetics (2012), the band quickly gained recognition for their brutal and uncompromising approach to death metal.
The band is famous for a style that seamlessly oscillates between melodic elements and unbridled aggression. Rejecting a calculated approach, Ad Patres focuses on crafting music that resonates with their personal tastes and involves meticulous refinement. Describing their sound as clean, direct, and devoid of unnecessary frills, they aim for a music experience that is unequivocally “in your face.” Following its 2019 release A Brief Introduction to Human Experiments, the band’s now ready to father its new ill conception.
Ad Patres will release its new album Unbreathable in June via Non Serviam Records. Main composer Olivier‘s clear vision shaped the album. Fostering a suffocating and claustrophobic atmosphere, the album seamlessly integrates new technical horizons. With the band’s signature sound, it results in a work of heightened accomplishment. Pierre-Yves Marani recorded the vocals at Ubik Mastering. Mathieu Pascal did the drums recording, mixed and mastered the album at Bud Records. Also, Yohan «Haash» Hühner created the cover art and layout.
