Atmospheric black/folk metal project Selvans from Italy will release the single Il Capro Infuocato on 26th April, via Avantgarde Music. Three years after his latest studio album, singer and keyboardist Selvans returns with this new single.
Come to the Sabbath! Selvans takes us into the midst of an orgiastic ritual in the woods to summon the ‘Flaming Goat’ (Il Capro Infuocato). Between writhing bodies and gigantic statues made of straw and roots, the Italian horrorist brings to life a black metal anthem in Italian. For the first time, entirely sung with clean vocals, with an heavy-prog riffing in the way of Savatage and a central sabbath with transverse flute, synth and Hammond. Sheila Franco created the cover artwork.
