Brazilian melodic death metal group Eldermoon have released their new single Primal Chain. The track will feature on their forthcoming album Egregora, set to be released on July 30th, 2024 via Sliptrick Records.
Here’s what the band had to say about the song:
“In a world that has recently sprung to life, the Moon watches human beings stand out from other life forms. This is due to the effective way in which they lead the food chain at the same time as they begin to develop their more rational instincts and feelings, making the Moon see them as worthy and gift them with the knowledge of fire.”
However, as covered in a previous article, the band released another single, Ascension, on February 16th.
Furthermore, Eldermoon is a melodic death metal band hailing from Brazil. All in all, one of their main characteristics is crossing the paths of heavy metal and metalcore. Vocals, ranging from guttural to melodic mix with music highlighting bass and drums with insane, wild riffs.
The band came to life in 2019 and in 2021 they released their first EP. Titled We Are Lost No More, the four song material came out only in digital format. Later, on October 28th, 2022, the band released a second EP. Bearing the title Vita/Mortem, the four track release opened their way for signing with Sliptrick Records for their upcoming debut album.
