A decade following their black metal debut, Worhs returns with their ninth album. Thus,  La grande poisseuse, a work they hold in high esteem, came out on February 2nd, via Mort sur Musique.

Known for their poignant and somber tracks, Worhs has continually evolved, with each album distinct from the last. La grande poisseuse stands out as their most intense and chaotic creation yet. It pushes the limits of extreme dissonance and brutality, complemented by a modern production that still honors underground creativity.

This album embodies auditory hell, with tracks varying from despairing and hateful to outright menacing. It serves as a profound exploration of Willow’s mental health, delving deep into the tumultuousness of her psyche through abundant, raw lyrics.

Worhs is an avant-garde extreme metal band from France. Initially, the duo emerged in 2014, under the name Destroyers of History. The name of the band changed when it became a solo project. It remained unchanged after Nijmaa joined. During their ten years of activity, the French band has released nine full-length albums.
