Spanish black metallers Atrexial will release their third studio album, The Serpent Abomination on March 22nd, via Non Serviam Records. The seven track new material will come out as digipack CD and in digital format. Gerard Porqueres (Heartwork Recordings) recorded, mixed and mastered the new album, while Luciana Nedelea created the artwork. Also, Phrenetica dealt with the layout, photo shooting and graphic design.
Furthermore, today, the band from Barcelona, has unveiled the first single Blackfire Liturgy. It is “an anthem and homage to the presence of the somber nature of the soul, a mantra and proclamation of spiritual liberation through maleficent sonorous passages, all conceived by the greater desire and ambition of transcending”, comments the band about the song.
About the band:
Initially, it was a one-man-band, which Naga S. Maelström founded in 2014. After writing the debut album Souverain, he eventually transformed it into a live band. After the live debut, in 2017, and the good reception, the band toured Spain initially. Later, they started to perform in other parts of Europe, joining forces with Marduk. The next year, the band took part in the winter edition of MetalDays Festival and then, the summer edition, in addition to many other festivals in Europe.
