Atmospheric black metal band The Negative Bias from Austria released their third full-length album on October 6th, via Vendetta Records. Titled The Seven Seals Of Saligia, the new material includes seven tracks and has a total duration of 49 minutes. However, prior to the album release, the Austrian band dropped the single The Dystopian Realm of Necrokosm on September 10th.
About The Seven Seals Of Saligia:
Delve deep into the recesses of human frailty and redemption with The Negative Bias‘ forthcoming album, The Seven Seals Of Saligia. This opus is a haunting experience in sonic storytelling. The band beckons listeners to embark on an introspective journey inspired by the catastrophic collapse of humanity… However, brought about by humans’ collective vices.
The seven tracks act as individual chapters, each focused on one of the seven deadly sins. Precisely those that led humanity to its demise. From the void of Final Abominations Of This Barren Earth to the existential dread in The Dystopian Realm Of Necrokosm, the album is a vivid landscape of both personal and collective moral struggles.
Furthermore, this auditory experience unfolds like a cosmic odyssey, beginning with a world engulfed in flames—metaphors for our self-inflicted wounds and failures—and ending with the emergence of new life forms, poised to correct the errors of the past. It’s a soul-stirring exploration of the fall and potential rise of sentient beings. Thus, it captures the tension between vice and virtue, damnation and redemption.
Beyond its thematic profundity, The Seven Seals Of Saligia is available in limited vinyl editions, CDs, and digital formats. It caters to various preferences in audio consumption! Therefore, prepare to engage with an album that challenges not just musical norms, but also the paradigms of human conduct and cosmic existence.
