Deserted Realms came out just one year after Unveil In The Abyss, the seven track, critically acclaimed previous album.
Desecresy, the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist Tommy Grönqvist, commands an unmatched presence in the death metal scene. He not only authors the music and wields every instrument, but also lends his guttural growls since the fifth album. His vocals add an extra layer of intensity to the band’s signature blend of dark, putrid, and hypnotic death metal… Also tinged with doom elements, it draws comparisons to the likes of Bolt Thrower, Incantation, and Rottrevore.
