Melodic death metal band Innersphere released a new single, The Trident is Burning, on December 8th, via Smile Music Records. It was only unleashed in digital format since it’s not meant as an independent track. Moreover, this is a powerful introduction to their upcoming album, promising a blend of intense melodies and compelling death metal rhythms.
The Trident is Burning is the first of three singles from Innersphere‘s upcoming album In the Shadow of the Sun. As a matter of fact, this is the band’s third full length album, following Amnesia (2018) and Omphalos (2022). It’ll unleash madness in March 2024 under Smile Music Records. The music video, capturing the Czech band’s dynamic performance, was shot at the Brutal Assault festival in 2023. Marek Frodys Pytlík directed the video and Dan Friml mastered, mixed and produced it. The recording took place at The Barn Studio.
