Saturnus / Esoteric live in Romania

The Danish prophets of Doom Metal, Saturnus, are set to begin a European tour in support of their new album, “Before the Storm”. The British band Esoteric, considered the founders of the Funeral Doom Metal genre, will join the Danish band on this tour.

Tickets are priced as follows:
– early bird – 80 RON (50 tickets)
– presale – 100 RON
– at the door – 120 RON

In 1991, Saturnus introduced Death Metal to the Danish music scene, then refined its sound by combining Melodic Death / Doom with Gothic Metal, with clean vocals, growls, but also something more special: atmospheric recitations.

In the years since the release of Saturnus’ last album, “Saturn in Ascension”, (2012), Saturnus has been involved in several intense tours as well as undergoing numerous changes in the line-up.

Now, for the first time since 2012, Saturnus is ready to release their new album, “Before the Storm”, which has been eagerly awaited by true aficionados of Melancholic Doom Metal.

Throughout its 30-year history, Esoteric has consistently pushed the limits of sound intensity. From the hallucinatory obscurity of the two double albums released in the 90s – Epistemological Despondency and The Pernicious Enigma – to the vast epics on the recent “The Maniacal Vale” and “Paragon of Dissonance”, this British band has never compromised its initial objective, that of unleashing sonic chaos on the ears of unsuspecting listeners.

The end of 2019 marked the release of the album “A Pyrrhic Existence”, which represents the culmination of an uncompromising career. Detailed, multilayered compositions, a high level of musicality, the obscurity of the songs, and the variation in melodic style make “A Pyrrhic Existence” the band’s best work to date.

If you are a Doom Metal fan (and not only) you cannot afford to miss this show!
