Villagers Of Ioannina City is one of the most sensational rock/folk/psychedelic bands from Greece, with a special sound, rich in traditional musical influences from the Epirus region.
Villagers Of Ioannina City was established in 2007, between spectacular lakes and mountains in northwestern Greece. This geographical framework, so poetic, has had an abundant presence in the musical direction of the band since the debut album, “Riza“, released in 2014, a material that can be described as a mix between classic rock groove and uniqueness of the Greek traditional instruments. Shortly after “Riza” followed the EP “Zvara / Karakolia” (2014), a material that complements the story of the first album, but which gave the band the time needed to prepare what we can call today one of the best albums. of the genre.

The release of the “Age Of Aquarius” album in physical format will take place on April 3 under the label Napalm Records.
