SoundArt Festival returns with its most ambitious and complex edition yet. In 2025, SoundArt takes place from March 10 to 16, across multiple venues.
The art exhibition will be open from March 10 to 16 at Hidden. Dan Serbanescu and Mihnea Badea are the featured artists exhibiting their works.
On March 13, the festival will be hosted at Control Club, where Dan Serbanescu will perform with his project, Alone in The Hollow Garden.
The symposium will take place at Casa Universitarilor on March 14 at 11:00 AM: “On the Visible and Invisible in Universal Art” – Mihai Plamadeala, curator and art historian. “Symmetrology of Decorative Art and Ornamental Masonry. The Vision of a Crystallographer” – Associate Professor Dr. Gheorghe Ilinca, Faculty of Geology and Geophysics, University of Bucharest.
For March 14 and 15 at Quantic Club, the organizers have announced the following bands: Villagers of Ioannina City (Greece), Bong-Ra (Netherlands), Five the Hierophant (UK), The Answer Lies in The Black Void (Hungary, Netherlands), Desert Monks (Greece), Obsolete Guns (Bulgaria), Hypnosaur (Poland), Tragic (Romania), Beauty and the Rat (Romania), Umbersun (Romania), and Jahmolxes (Romania).
On March 16, the audience is invited to Hidden – The Social Space for a concert by Amarthalos (Romania) and a reading evening with Institutul Blecher. Poets Claudiu Komartin, Ania Vilal, and Serban Mihalache are the guests of this special edition of the Institutul Blecher Reading Club at SoundArt Festival 2025. Entry to Hidden is free, with priority given to SoundArt Festival 2025 pass holders and Institutul Blecher members, subject to venue capacity.
The organizers have designed the entire SoundArt Festival 2025 experience around the alchemical concept of Magnum Opus. Attendees will embark on an initiatory journey through the full suite of activities and concerts, gradually reenacting the stages of the Great Work of self-transmutation.

About SoundArt Festival
Now in its 6th edition, SoundArt is a bold endeavor in a social landscape where niche music events require massive effort to be built and communicated to the public.
SOUNDART FESTIVAL is not an event featuring bands that follow a pre-set formula for musical success. It surprises with personal elements, reinvents itself over time, and continuously explores not just music but also other forms of art.
The goal is clear: promoting the arts and artists at a local level, within a uniquely musical framework. The festival itself is the main ambassador of this brand, guiding audiences through high-quality musical journeys and bringing soulfully curated bands to its stage.
