Swedish atmospheric black metal band Ana Argan List has unveiled the second single, Vingar, from their upcoming second full-length album Irrbloss, set to come out on October 11th, 2024 via Ground Media Group. The album features seven tracks, offering 35 minutes of atmospheric black metal infused with ambient and pagan influences. Irrbloss will be available on all major digital platforms, including Spotify and iTunes.
Vingar (meaning “wings” in English) is a deeply personal song about escaping the confines of one’s mind and breaking free from depressive thoughts and bad habits. As described by Edvin Johansson, “When I wrote the song, I envisioned a bird flying away, leaving everything behind and heading toward the golden sun—a symbol of hope.”
Ana Argan List is the atmospheric post-black metal solo project of Edvin Johansson, and emerged in Stockholm in 2020. A four track debut EP came out the same year, followed by the debut album, Bläck & saltvatten the year to follow. Then, in 2023 the single Creatures of the Night came out. Now, on October 11th, Edvin Johansson will release the project’s second full-length album, Irrbloss.
