Bosphorus Open Air Metal Fest is a two day event which will have reached its fourth edition next year. Thus, on the brink of autumn, on September 20th – 21st the European side of Istanbul hosts an amazing metal festival at Maximum UNIQ Açıkhava Arena.
After the fulminant success of this year’s edition, headlined by Sodom and Samael, the organizers have started to announce the lineup for 2025. Nothing short of amazing!
Hailing from Finland, the iconic death metal band Amorphis is one of the titans recently announced. Furthermore, Austria’s brutal and relentless band Belphegor will shatter the stage with their blasphemous performance. And the madness goes on! Hailing from Netherlands, Asphyx will add to the havoc and devastation and, if anyone believed for a moment that things cannot go crazier than this… they couldn’t be more wrong! Swedish death/black metal gods Necrophobic add to the lineup together with the Norwegians Susperia!
However, good news don’t stop here! Recently out of a too long period of hibernation, Old Man’s Child is back with a vengeance! The recently reformed Norwegian legendary band also features on the festival’s bill and, after such a long absence they will make a devastating show!
