Romanian death metal band Saddayah is back! Brace yourselves and prepare for an avalanche of blast beats and relentless guitar riffs! Six long years after the release of their acclaimed debut album Apopheny of Life, the band finally broke silence. Indeed, Saddayah is making a comeback, with a new musical material.

Thus, on October 18th, the band will release the long awaited EP, titled Lila. More details about the release and the EP will come in the following weeks. For now, the band unveiled only the title and artwork, casting the spells of mystery over the track list and everything else.

Biography:
Saddayah is a death metal band which was founded by Gabriel Marincu (guitar) and Theo Ionescu (drums) about the end of 2013. The band’s live debut took place in the following year, in Ploiesti. Four years later, they released their debut album, Apopheny of Life (2018), via LoudRage Music. The eight track debut full-length received excellent reception and benefitted of a generous distribution. As a result, there have been a long line of very appreciative reviews from webzines and magazines abroad, as the CD reached the markets of 30 countries.

Saddayah‘s music has deep roots in the traditional death metal, but, over the years, the band’s technical approach has led to a fresh direction. Indeed, an intricate blend of death metal with progressive and black metal influences. The result is mesmerizing and fruitful, as they played countless concerts both in Romania and abroad.

There’s another interesting fact worth mentioning! The band’s name is inspired by a Javanese word, meaning ‘psychosis’.
