Swedish atmospheric black metal band Ana Argan List has unveiled their first single, Vägen Sanningen Ljuset, from their upcoming second full-length album, Irrbloss. The new album comes three years later, after the band’s debut album, Bläck & saltvatten.
Irrbloss will be released in physical format on October 11th, 2024, via Ground Media Group. The album includes seven tracks and 35 minutes of pure, atmospheric black metal with ambient and pagan influences.
“Vägen Sanningen & Ljuset is a track about my friend who ended his own life. It’s a track about struggle, sadness, and the emptiness that follows. It goes without saying that it’s a very special and therapeutic song for me. It’s a way to handle grief,” says Edvin Johansson.
“We’ve collaborated with Ana Argan List on their first EP and are excited to announce that we have re-signed with them for their second full-length album Irrbloss. The first track on the new album, Vägen Sanningen Ljuset, gives a great impression of what one can expect from the album. Atmospheric, melodic, dark, raw, hypnotic, and even beautiful soundscapes.
