This year, Psychosounds Fest is taking place on September 20th-21st at Quantic Pub from Bucharest! Indeed, this two-day event brings together a variety of bands from Romania and abroad. A diverse line-up, ranging from black metal, to death metal, grindcore and metalcore!
The organizers have already announced the bands which will shatter the stage at Quantic! Hailing from Greece, Dead Congregation is a death metal band whose two full-length albums and two EPs have already established their place on the underground stage. From Czech Republic, with 25 years of activity, Inferno will bring their blasphemous black metal conjuring darkness and chaos. Furthermore, Mastic Scum from Austria will bring havoc with their brutal death metal/grindcore/crossover sounds.
Hailing from Italy, there is another death metal band on the lineup, this time with progressive influences! Thus, raise your horns for Sadist and let’s welcome their first show in Romania! From the darkness of UK’s underground, there comes Stahlsarg, a black metal band which hasn’t played in Romania since 2018. From Croatia, blackened death metal band Defiant needs no further presentation. Also, black metal purveyors Ildaruni from Armenia are no strangers to the Romanian audience!
All the way from Costa Rica, also for the first time on a Romanian stage, death/thrash metal act Mantra is a force of nature! One which will forever change your perception of reality! Therefore, their live performance shall not be missed out!
The other names on the bill represent the Romanian musical landscape, indeed a varied one: Clitgore (grindcore), Blacksheep (death’n’roll), Necrovile (brutal death metal), and Avoid Humanity (deathcore). Also, L.O.S.T. (melodic death metal) a band which needs no presentation! We Are Numbers (metalcore), a fans’ favourite, Neon Prophecies (symphonic deathcore) and Mauna Sol (black metal).
