MAYHEM, undoubtedly one of the most controversial names in contemporary music history, returns to Romania for a truly special show on September 3rd at Quantic, Bucharest.
The band will celebrate 40 years of career with an outstanding show. The evening will include songs from each of their album, all showcased alongside a premiere audio and visual production. Visually and conceptually, the show will cover every era of MAYHEM. As the band states, ‘It will be a legendary event that no True Mayhem fan would want to miss.’
Books, doctoral theses, and even a Netflix film have been written about Mayhem. Their beginnings also mark the most controversial stage of the Norwegian group’s career. From controversial live shows to Dead’s suicide and Euronymus’s death, the band has become part of contemporary music history. However, the Norwegian group has endured over the years through the quality and influence of their releases, uncompromising albums designed and composed against any commercial standards and clichés.
Even after 40 years of activity, Mayhem remains the standard of Black Metal music.
