Destince is a progressive death metal band from Marburg, Germany, which came to life in the spring of 2018. Inspired by scene greats like Opeth and Tool, Chris, Benny, Jamie, Manuel and Danilo fuse the complexity of progressive metal with the raw intensity and melodic elements of melodic death metal. The songs are rounded off by the deliberate use of quiet passages and the frequent change between growling and clean vocals.
