The Romanian band Ruyned from Timisoara will open for Impaled Nazarene in Quantic Club, on February 3rd. The quartet formed in 2023, therefore it is a new group of talented and ambitious youngsters who dream big and sound very promising. Bogdan and Andrei started the band due to their mutual interest in extreme music. Also, there was an itch to create and perform that gave birth to their desire to form a band. Later, Mihai and Tiberiu completed the lineup. The band had its live debut on May 20th, as opening act for Imund.
Ruyned combine black, thrash and speed metal elements, showcasing an old school sound mixed with modern influences. Thematically, their music speaks about death and mental disorders.
Following the first three live performances, the band recorded a three song demo, Morbid Pleasures, which they released independently. Afterwards, they took part in concerts and festivals all over the country. Thus, they shared the stage with names like Terrorhammer, Gallower, Sexmag, Doomsday Astronaut and Clitgore. Currently, the band is working on their debut album, Eternal Torment, preparing its release. However, an official release date has not yet been announced. Nevertheless, the band will celebrate their first year of existence with a concert in Timisoara, on March 22nd.
According to their statement, the event on February 3rd is the most important live show in their young career. Therefore they are looking forward to the concert. Being the opening act for Impaled Nazarene’s special show, they will also share the stage with Akral Necrosis, a well known black metal band from Bucharest, which needs no presentation.
Impaled Nazarene will bring on stage an unique concert, based on a concept especially devised for the Romanian public. More information here.
