FUCK YOU! DRACU is a hardcore punk band born in 2016 in Valul lui Traian, near Constanța. Initially, the band performed a number of concerts in Constanța and, in 2017, they came to Bucharest in front of a larger audience.
The musical genre of this band has been compared to GG Allin, Dead Kennedys and The Mentors, the latter being a reference to the costumes the members wear on stage. Wanting to remain anonymous, the band appears on stage only in black executioner hoods, although members are known to be associated with other projects such as CARDINAL, PAVILION 32, ROTHEADS, SEX PULA PISTOL, COLD BRATS and TAXI.
“FUCK OFF AND DRACU” is the band’s record debut, consisting in seven songs strongly focused on the lyrics and delivered without compromise. Influences of Thrash Metal and Grindcore complete the album, summing up in a consistent and strong material of Romanian punk.
FY! D have held concerts in Bucharest, Constanța, Cluj-Napoca and Craiova, including at festivals such as Old Grave Fest and Metal Bunker. More details about the band’s future will be announced on FUCK YOU! DRACU’s facebook page.
