Epica, Loch Vostok and Magnetic for Maximum Rock Festival 2020!

Epica, Loch Vostok and Magnetic for Maximum Rock Festival 2020!

Maximum Rock Festival comes back in force with the eighth edition, this time Open Air, which promises to be an unforgettable one and exceed all expectations. Therefore, between June 13-14, 2020 we will see you at Arenele Romane in Bucharest for a crazy weekend!

EPICA (Netherlands), LOCH VOSTOK (Sweden), MAGNETIC (Bulgaria) joins the other bands confirmed so far: DEVIN TOWNSEND (Canada), KATATONIA (Sweden), THERION (Sweden), ORPHANED LAND (Israel), SUBTERRANEAN MASQUERADE (Israel).

In the multitude of symphonic metal acts, EPICA is certainly a special figure. With the distinctive sign of the malleable voice of the beautiful Simone Simons, which creates expressive contrasts with the death-metal vocals of the initiator Mark Jansen, the Dutch band takes you through an adventurous journey filled with stylistic elements of the most surprising key. As Eduardo Rivadavia wrote from the Allmusic online music database, the main attraction of Epica music comes from “exploring the contrasts of light and darkness.” With eight studio albums active (of which two in two variants), Epica is a long-standing name on the international metal scene and on the concert circuit. The very good reviews on the site Encyclopaedia Metallum confirm the taste of the audience for this music whose live dimension is worth watching.

After taking an important first step towards consolidating the status on the international stage in a tour with Therion and Leprous – when they arrived in Romania – the Swedish band Loch Vostok seemed to enter, at least for the Romanian spectators, in  shadow. But Teddy Möller and the company kept up the work with tenacity and released, at large intervals, but regularly, albums that would make their own brand of metal extremely progressive.
The return of Loch Vostok to Romania is an opportunity, for the band and the public, to recover the time elapsed from the last presence well received by the local audience.
Magnetic bring to the public a combination of non-metal, progressive, crossover. In 2016 the band manages to release the first EP, and after a few national tours, the band gets to play at Rock Camp Satu Mare Open Air (2018), as co-headliner alongside Firewind, Jinjer and Majesty, but also at Rock n Iasi Indoor. 2018.
In 2019 Magnetic holds, along with Annihilator, several concerts throughout Europe.
Magnetic is currently working on the first LP and a promotional tour that will include Maximum Rock Festival 2020.
The first ticket category is already Sold Out, and at this moment subscriptions are available at the price of 249 lei (the last pieces) exclusively on www.ambilet.ro.
The event is organized by Promusic Events & Maximum Rock, recommended by Rock FM.
