Watain, one of the most controversial black metal bands to date, are returning to Romania on the 8th of May in club Quantic as part of their European tour “Eastern Eclipse”.
We will be witness to a raw show of pure black metal, without pyrotechnics this time, so be prepared for a moshpit.
The Romanian depressive black metal band Kistvaen will be opening act for this show.
Kistvaen is the first Romanian band to approach the depressive black metal, following in the footsteps of European bands that have molded this peculiar subgenre of black metal. Bands such as Silencer, Shining and Betleem can be credited as source of inspiration for the band. “Unbekannte”, their first studio album, was released in October 2010 and featured Niklas Kvarforth from Shining as guest during the bands show which marked the release of said album. The year 2014 marks the release of their second full length album titled “Desolate Ways”, which featured a new musical and visual concept, followed by a promotional European tour last year. Kistvaen also celebrated ten years of activity through a tour which had this new concept as base for their shows.
