Thenighttimeproject have unveiled the name of the follow-up album to their self-titled debut album. The upcoming masterpiece will be entitled “Pale Season” and will be released in June, 2019.
The band was founded by Fredrik “North” Norrman, formerly in Katatonia, sometime between 2010 and 2011. Between 2010 and 2016 he was joined by Tobias Netzell of In Mourning fame, along with Nicklas Hjertton, formerly of Mandylon in releasing the band’s self-titled debut album “Thenighttimeproject”. Unfotrunately, the same year as Mattias joins the band, Nicklas and Tobias decide to leave due to lack of time. But the turning of the year brings good news, and in 2018 the line-up is completed by Jonas Sköld (October Tide, Letters From The Colony) on drums and vocalist Alexander Backlund (Letters From The Colony) and work on the new album begins.
