On 21th of March 2017, the musical world was stunned after Negru’s departure, the last founding member of Negura Bunget. He left the band without any original members, and effectively ended the group.

Before this tragic event, Negura Bunget was working on a series of albums called “ Transilvanian Trilogy”. The first two albums were released in the last years. More exactly, the album that begins the trilogy is called “Tau” and was released in 2015, and the second album, “ZI”, was released in 2016. This albums contain songs, well received by the fans, such as „Nămetenie„, „Tul-ni-că-rind” or „Stanciul Gruiul„.

On December 7th 2018, Negura Bunget made their first post on social media after a long time and revealed to the world the finalising of the “Transilvanian Trilogy”.

“The 3rd and final chapter of the Transilvanian Trilogy has been completed. After the departure of Negru and in acordance with his vision and his detailed production planning, the last album has been produced. It includes his last drum recordings and the musical contributions of his colleagues from “Zi”. Under the sign of mystery and wonder, the last album is a statement as the Romanian philosopher Lucian Blaga said: “I do not crush the world’s corolla of wonders And I do not kill with my mind the wonders on my path.” More information coming soon.”
