Founded in 2009, Dark Bombastic Evening is an international musical event which was created out of passion and respect for the underground culture. This year, the ninth edition will take place between the fortress walls of Alba Iulia on 15-18 August.
DBE is an atypical manifesto that supports the Underground Spirit, quality artistic expression, freedom of opinion, tolerance to new and non-standardized, common sense and dignity.
The movement was created out of the sincere desire to offer friendship, but also to lay the foundations of a properly structured underground front on real landmarks. Everything started with the appreciation of the talented artists who shared their visions in a most honest way. DBE respects classic but resonates with forefront, experimental and atypical vectors.
The affinity to the DBE platform could eventually represent a new, unconditional, free attitude that could lead to a beautiful dream for each of the supporters: artists, public, organizers, partners, media.
Like in the last years, DBE supports opportunities for diverse visual artists and welcomes the creators looking to celebrate and showcase their artwork during the festival. This year are present: Ilinca Straton with a photo exhibition, Tica Losu with engravings, jewelry made by Szifianna brand and fashion by Sartorial Blakumen horde.
