Graveland is a Polish pagan-black metal band formed in 1992 by Rob Darken. It began as a black metal band, before adopting the pagan and viking style. The lyrics are strongly inspired by mythology, nature, winter and war. The first albums focused on celtic and glorious mythology, while later albums focus on Norwegian mythology and Wotanism.
