The well-known deathcore band Thy Art Is Murder is returning to Bucharest on the 2nd of July for a concert in club Quantic (Intrarea Grozavesti). The event is part of their European Tour entitled “Death Dealers” and is organized by 7inc. Openers for the band will be As I Fall, Devided By Perception and Walk the Abyss.

Thy Art Is Murder is a band from Sydney, Australia, founded in 2006. The first 3 albums they released, “The Adversary” (2010), “Hate” (2012) and “Holy War” (2015), has given the band a specific sound, easily recognizable and thus it became one of the most complex and original bands of deathcore. They combined elements from classic and authentic death metal with breakdowns and influences from bands such as Decapitated, Meshuggah, Black Dahlia Murder and Carnifex, which makes it an extreme style of music. The 2017 release entitled “Dear Desolation” will be the album which will be the center piece of the whole tour.

Walk the Abyss is a deathcore band from Bucharest and was formed in 2011. The main idea of the project, from which the name of the band is also derived, is the contrasting idea of the journey into the abyss, which the band is trying to reproduce through guitar and bass guitar techniques, but also through breakdowns. Their first release was made in 2014 entitled “The Disclosure between Surface and Self” and which combines elements of djent, hardcore and progressive metal. The album can be listened to and purchased on Bandcamp.

Divided By Perception is a band from Cluj and was formed in 2012. The band plays metalcore combined with hardcore and has influences from bands such as Parkway Drive, Architects, While She Sleeps, The Devil Wears Prada, Trivium, Of Mice and Men and many others. Their first release was made in 2015 and is called “Verity”, which was followed by an EP entitled “Affliction”. Both can be listened to on Bandcamp. The central idea of the band is the idea that everyone sees life differently and everyone has their own way of dealing with what life gives us, which makes us unique.

As I Fall is a metalcore band from Bucharest and was formed in 2015. The band has been active in the Romanian metal underground for more than a year now and their first released track is called “Sleep Tight”.
