Saturday, 2nd of June 2018, 19:30 o’clock / Guests: Damage Case and Magazinu’ 51

Alongside Zob, SCANDAL are probably one of the most representative Romanian punk rock bands that are still active. Founded in 1997 in Bacau, initially under the name Speedy Freak, the band evolved meteorically, but left deep „scars” in the local punk rock scene at the passing of the millennia. After the band relocated to London, it released an excellent album at the beginning of 2018, which was very well received by press and public alike, the time came for the guys from SCANDAL to return home and celebrate 20 years of service in the music of protest.

“Patrula”, the immortal anti-militia punk hymn, will once again be heard in Bucharest together with tracks from the new album “On a Roll”; classic track in Romanian will also be heard as part of a special recital. It will be a gathering among and for old friends, because no one is illegal and everyone is welcome: people who already know the 4 troublemakers or who want to know them. A 20 year anniversary is equivalent to a lifetime, with the goods and the bads, and we would like to remember how it was, how it is and how it will be together! On the 2nd of June, the gathering will take place at club Quantic because “it’s time. It’s time for SCANDAL”.

The anniversary show is an exclusive one, and the 4 troublemakers will come directly from London for the show. Damage Case (crossover thrash metal – Bacau/Bucharest) and Magazinu’ 51 (punk rock – Pitesti/Bucharest) will share the stage with SCANDAL; two bands who functions according to the same type of ethic which made SCANDAL famous. We would like for the event to continue throughout the night until morning with “șpriț” and beer accompanied by crazy punk, oi! And ska punk rhythms.

The Scandal / Damage Case / Magazinu 51’ show is presented by Axa Valaha Productions & Ribcage Booking.
