Draconian & Julian’s Lullaby confirmed @Metal Gates Festival

16-18th of november @Quantic

Draconian it’s finally coming to Romania to present their fans their latest album, Sovran, and their old hits as well.
The beginning of Sweden’s DRACONIAN can be traced back to May 1994, when Johan Ericson (drums, vocals), Andy Hindenäs (guitars) and Jesper Stolpe (bass, vocals) joined forces as KERBEROS, a melodic heavy/death metal ensemble with black metal influences. Seven months later, lead vocalist and poet Anders Jacobsson joined the band, which then changed its name to what it is today.
DRACONIAN recorded their debut album, Where Lovers Mourn in Studio Mega under the supervision of Chris Silver (ex Sundown and Cemetary member) in July 2003.
Draconian’s sound has remained steadfast to its origins, in particular, the powerful vocal growls of Anders Jakobsson, one of the band’s defining and most unique features, along with newcomer female vocalist Heike Langhans sensitively interwoven melodies. Draconian’s sixth studio album Sovran is no exception to this formula, and immediately convinces the listener with Beauty and the Beast-esque vocal contrasts, striking accents, and threatening moods.

Julian’s Lullaby band formed in 2006 aiming to make a blend of metal rock music enriched with neo-classical, symphonic and acoustic-folk rock elements.
Although many line-up changes have occurred to-date, the vision still remains pretty much the same.
In 2008 performed live in Ermoupolis Rock festival (Syros island) as well as Greektures of the Night Kiss tribute live (Rockhard mag. GR),
while in 2011 signed with STF records (Germany) to release their debut full-length album.
After finishing their second album “Prisoner of Emotions” and publishing their first lyric video for the song “Hell’s Door” they got in touch with records label worldwide. There was a big interest from them about releasing the album and finally they signed with the historical Russian label Musica! The new album was out on December 8, 2017!
