The Bipolar Disorder Project, the solo project of Hteththemeth multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Robert Cotoros, has just released his debut album, entitled Anna. The seeds of Anna have been planted ever since 2011 and the album has been a careful labour of love over the years, reaching its final conclusion now, in march 2018. The album is a concept work, telling the story of a troubled young girl, with an apparently perfect life, yet harbouring a deep darkness which comes to the surface when she meets a loving, dark and mysterious entity. Anna can be considered an avant-garde/progressive metal album, ideal for fans of Devin Townsend, Opeth, Leprous, Arcturus and Ulver. Although Robert was the central piese to the album’s creation, several other artists played major roles in bringing the vision to life, including Andrei Oltean, frontman and ethnic instrumentist in E-an-na, Laura Brat, frontwoman of Gray Matters and Ana Tazlauanu, a unkown musician with a golden voice.
Anna is available NOW on Bandcamp for FREE, with the added option of donating to support the artist, as well as on iTunes, Spotify, Deezer, Amazon, Google Play, Pandora, Tidal, Apple Music and many other well-known retailers and streaming services.
