Insomnium and Tribulation in Quantic: Access program and rules

The top finish metal band Insomnium is returning to Romania on the 22nd of March in club Quantic, Bucharest. With an activity spanning 20 years, Insomnium have released 7 studio albums, the first of which is entitled “In the Hell of Awaiting” and was launched in 2002 and the most recent one is entitled “Winter’s Gate”, released in 2016.

The band has matured with each discographic release, reaching a unique sound, namely that melodic death metal sound combined with doom metal or progressive metal passages, sound that was made unmistakable with the release of “Shadows of the Dying Sun” in 2014 and crystalized in its entirety with the latest release entitled “Winter’s Gate”.

The current line-up of Insomnium is:

Niilo Sevanen – vocals, bass guitar (1997-present)

Ville Friman – clean vocals, guitar

Markus Hirvonen -drums (1997-present)

Markus Vanhala – guitar (2011-present)

The opening act for Insomnium will be the swedes from Tribulation.

Formed in 2004, but with activity going back to 2001 under the name Hazard, Tribulation have a progressive approach to black metal. The band is considered one of the leaders of the new wave of European black metal.

They currently have 3 studio released and 2 EPs under their belt, the latest album being “The Children of the Night” released in 2015. The current line-up of the band is as follows:

Johannes Andersson – bass guitar, vocals

Adam Zaars – guitar

Jonathan Hulten – guitar

Oscar Leander – drums

The doors of club Quantic will open at 19 o’clock and the shows will start from 20 o’clock. The doors will stay open until the end of the event.


It is forbidden to have the following in the concert area:

  • Firearms
  • Alcohol or any other beverages or food from outside the concert venue
  • Flammable materials, gas canisters or cooking tools
  • Professional or semi-professional cameras
  • Professional or semi-professional recording devices

Tribulation – 20:00 – 20:50

Insomnium – 21:15 – 23:00

There will be no safe area put at your disposal for valuables.

The sale of merchandise will be made in cash, so we ask you to please ask for the receipt after purchase. The following beer kinds will be available for purchase: Ciuc, Silva Black, without alcohol, Radler, vodka, whiskey, Jägermeister, water, various juices, long drinks, coffee and many others.
