Dopelord will be in Bucharest on the Saturday, the 24th of February and will be playing together with Void Forger and Ropeburn in club Quantic.

Dopelord’s sound is a combination between acid fuzz, stoner and doom metal with slight psychedelic vocals. The band was formed in 2010 and in 2012 they have lauched their first studio album entitled “Magick Rites”. After the initial success of the first album among the stoner and doom fans, Dopelord released “Black Arts, Riff Worship & Weed Cult” in 2014. To use the band members own words, their inspiration comes from old movies, 70’s music and an interest for the occult. In 2017, the band releases “Children of the Haze”, which is their third studio album. Their third album is proof that the band have not fallen into repetition, making similar sounding records, but evolved with each material produced, and “Children of the Haze” has been very well received by music critics as well as by fans. The band is currently on their promotional tour for the album.

Void Forger are a band with an experimental sound, combining elements from crust, doom and sluge metal as well as black metal and some punk influences. The band has been active since 2010, having had many local live performances as well as being present at festivals abroad.

Ropeburn are the kind of underground band that leaves a good impression after a show and leaves the spectator with a feeling of satisfaction and surprise at the same time, even if it’s the first time you’ve seen them live. If it was the nihilistic lyrics theme that caught your attention, which deal with anxiety and social dysfunction, or it was the hardcore sound combined with sludge, punk and metal elements, Ropeburn is always capable of creating a unique and dynamic atmosphere to their shows.
