This year marks the 11th year of existence for the Rock’N’Iasi festival. Just like in 2016, there will be 3 editions of the festival:  the”Winter Edition”, which already took place between the 25th and 26th of March 2017; the “Open Air” edition, which took place between the 19th and 21st of May 2017 and the “Indoor Edition”, which will take place between the 27th and 29th  of October 2017. The only edition which hasn’t taken place at the Student’s House of Culture in Iasi was the “Open Air” edition. That edition took place on the Copou Ski Slope from Iasi.

Just like every year, Rock’N’Iasi returns in October at the Student’s House of Culture in Iasi. Untill now, only one headliner has been confirmed: Destruction from Germany.

Destruction will sing for the first time in Iasi. The band returns in Romania, after almost a year. The last concert took place in night club “Fabrica” in Bucharest in January 2017. It is one of the most recognized thrash metal acts from Europe, being formed in 1982. Initially, the band was named Knight of Demon, but this has changed after a couple of weeks. In their 25 years of existence, Destruction have played on the some of the most important metal stages in the world, like the Wacken Festival, Brutal Assault or Rock in Rio. Until now, the band has recorded 15 studio albums, the last one being “Thrash Anthems II”, released in August 2017. Destruction is recognized for songs like “Thrash ‘Till Death”, “Carnivore”, “Under Attack”, or “Bestial Invasion”.

Tickets and official program will be announced in the near future. For more details, visit the event’s official page.
